We make every piece by hand, made to order. Please allow 5-10 working days for us to complete your order. This is an average time frame, sometimes sooner, sometimes longer, depending on our work load at the time. If we are experiencing a longer wait time than stated, we will contact you. Please read these FAQS and they should answer most of your questions without having to contact us. info@sweettrade.net
SALES AND RETURNS
Since we make every piece by hand, made to order, all sales are FINAL. If WE make a mistake in sizing, color, or any other manufacturing detail, we will gladly accept the return at our cost in exchange for exactly what you ordered. We inspect each and every piece before it leaves the studio. If by chance a manufacturing defect gets by our inspection, we will gladly fix/repair/replace so you get the best quality you deserve, period. Please contact us within 5 days of receiving if there is an issue.
We stand by our products 100%. If a SWEETTRADE product fails in construction under normal use, we will fix or replace ( at our discretion) FREE of charge. Please Contact us first at info@sweettrade.net before returning so we can discuss the issue.
SHIPPING
We ship USPS Priority for a flat rate of $8.00 within the USA. A tracking # is provided with this service. Insurance is also available for an additional cost in the drop down shipping menu located in the shopping cart checkout. If you would prefer a different shipping method, please contact us before placing an order.
International shipping is USPS Priority International For a flat rate of $18.00 USD . This shipping method provides NO tracking and NO insurance. Using this method seems to be the best we have found for the price and reliability. We will send you a confirmation of shipping accepted at the post office with as much information as they provide us. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSS/DAMAGE OR OTHER FEES CHARGED USING THIS METHOD. If you would like to use another method of shipping, or a method using USPS Priority International that provides a tracking code and insurance, please contact us with your request and we can accommodate your method before purchase.
Once you place an order, Pay-Pal will send you a confirmation of order. This is also your receipt.
We accept PAY-PAL, VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX AND DISCOVER via the secure Pay-Pal site. You do not need a Pay-Pal account to purchase from us.
BELT SIZING
Every belt is sized exactly to the measurement you provide. To find your belt size, simply measure a belt that you currently wear, starting from where the leather begins to fold around the buckle, to the hole you most often use. This is the size belt you should choose from the drop down menu under the category: Belt Size. This number will give you 2 inches of adjustability fore and aft. In general, belt sizing is 2-3 inches larger than your pant size. If you do not find your belt size in the scroll down menu please choose "Custom" and add your belt size in the "note to seller" in the shopping cart.
RANDOMS
Yes, we can do customization to existing products in our collection. Please contact us at: info@sweettrade.net to discuss what you would like.
We hand dye our colored leather products individually. Leather dye can rub off and transfer especially when new. Also natural vegetable tanned leather can pick up color from denim and dark clothing. We hand condition ALL of our products (dyed or natural) with our SWEETTRADE leather conditioner to help set the dye and seal the surface before they leave the studio. With each order we provide a small tin of our leather conditioner to keep your piece supple and protected from stains and dirt. We recommend you condition your leather piece to help deter from these occurrences.
Leather is a natural product. We make the effort to choose the best/clearest looking hides to work with. Subtle color differences and marks sometimes occur. Each SWEETTRADE product is hand made...expect uniqueness to each product. No two are exactly alike. We embrace "Wabi sabi", we hope you do too.
